I took an early morning drive up to Hanmer to work on Gintastic. Heading out via my favourite route, though the Waipara Gorge and Pyramid Valley, I was detoured due to the road being closed for a car local rally.

I was going to stop here earlier in the day but the light wasn't right but on the way back to SH1, it was perfectly soft and I took my time to finally capture an image that had been in my head for quite some time now.

I love the softness of the lines and the trees' shape has that beautiful curve to it.

Simplicity.
